Mr. Alley Hal Woosley, 86, retired, of Caneyville died February 17 (1977) at Grayson County War Memorial Hospital. / He was born January 20, 1890 in Grayson County, the son of Samuel J. Woosley and Fidelia Voiles Woosley. He was a member of the Caney Creek United Baptist Church. / Survivors include five sons, James Woosley, Barney Woosley and Roger Woosley, all of Caneyville, Harlan Woosley of Louisville and Paul Leon Woosley of Indiana; three daughters, Nina Lee Woosley of Caneyville, Aliene Stewart of Millwood and Elnora Embry of Morgantown; one sister, Anna Brown of Caneyville; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grand-children. / Funeral services were held February 20 at Wilson Baptist Church by the Rev. Lonnie Childress with interment in the Wilson Cemetery under the direction of Dermitt Funeral Home.
