Bessie Mae Thornbrugh, 90, Miami, OK, passed into eternal rest at 2:40 PM, Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Miami Baptist Hospital in Miami, OK after a sudden illness.

Bessie Mae Dilliner was born September 20, 1916 in Wyandotte, OK the daughter of Guy Samuel and Lillie Mae "Johnson" Dilliner. She had lived in the Wyandotte area all of her life. Bessie was a home maker and a member of the Church of God Holiness in Miami.

Bessie married Monty Myers in 1934 and he preceded her in death. She married Delbert Thornbrugh in 1956 and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters Bunia Griffin, Wyandotte, Wanda Myers, of the home and Donna Randolth, Welch; three foster daughters, Naomi Gooch, Seneca, Betty Walker, and Donna Devore both of Miami; 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Bessie was preceded in death by two daughters Edna Mae Baldwin, infant daughter Lela Faye; one son, Wayne Myers; four grandchildren; three sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Campbell Biddlecome Chapel with Garry McClendon officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
