Services will be 12:30 p.m. Fri. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry E. Oakland officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mr. Welch was born 21 Dec. 1934, in Sioux City, IA. & was a lifelong resident. He attended Sioux City schools.
He married Evelyn R. Bell on 28 Feb. 1953, in Elk Point, SD.
He had worked for the Stock Yards Co. for the last 30 years, serving as a foreman of the corn elevator for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; 5 sons, William & Terry, both of Sioux City, Douglas of Jefferson, SD., Randy of CO. & Rodney of McCook Lake, SD.; 1 daughter, Deanna of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Violet Welch of Sioux City; 1 brother, Jack of Fresno, CA.; 1 step-brother, A.R. Bingham of FL.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Brown of CA. & Mrs. Patricia McMahon of Sioux City; 2 step-sisters, Mrs. Audrey Rossow of Sioux City & Mrs. Joyce Russell of MN. & 8 grandchildren.
