Mary Macauley Whiting went home to her Heavenly Father August 1st, 2020. She passed away at the age of 59. She was the daughter of Henry Whiting Jr. and Clara Whiting.

She grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Her original passion was dancing for which she pursued an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and graduated in 1986. She then moved out to NYC after been accepted in the prestigious Martha Graham Dance Company in New York. After a career ending injury, Mary transitioned from becoming a dancer to becoming a healer by pursuing a Master's Degree in Dance Movement Therapy. In 1992, she met Alex A. Veguilla who became her husband in 1996. In 1997, Mary became the mother to Alexandra M. Veguilla-Whiting. In 2006, Mary and her family moved to the North Dallas area and in 2009 moving to Carrollton, Texas where she with her family made their residence.

Mary had a heart of gold. She had a way of empathically relating to people. She did so much for others and always put others above herself. Mary had three main staples that signified her: her work, her family, and the Lord. Mary loved her work. She impacted the lives of several people. She became very close with her clients and many of them would testify that she was like a mother to them and that she saved their lives... She was a huge part of many other of her friend's lives. She was admired for her wonderful characteristics such as her personality, her patience, empathy, and drive.

She also loved her family so much. She had relationships with her siblings and loved her parents deeply. Mary also profoundly loved her husband and daughter. Though a small family, they had unbreakable bond. In addition to Mary, Alex, and Alexandra's deep connection and love for one another that drew them so close together, it was most importantly their love for Jesus that united them together.

This brings us to the third staple of Mary. Mary loved the Lord with all her heart. Her passion for Christ shone through her in everything she did. Her ministry and fellowships was another big part of her life. It became her dream to start her own ministry to share the truth with the world. Mary would not be afraid to stop and talk to someone anywhere and open up her home to them to minister to them and/or just to be a friend. Mary would praise the Lord daily through prayer, dance and worship music. The music that she would play daily resounds in the home of her family.

Mary was a light to many and a beacon of truth. She will be overwhelmingly missed. She would want everyone to know that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to rejoice that she is in heaven. Her family praises the Lord for that she is no longer in the suffering of this Earth and is in the arms of God. Her family resides with the comfort that they will see her again in heaven.

She was a beloved wife to Alex A Veguilla and a wonderful mother to Alexandra M Veguilla. She is also survived by her siblings, Gordon Whiting, Henry Whiting III and Ruth Loomis.
