At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Beulah Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member.
She was united in holy matrimony to the loving Mr. Anthony Alexander on January 15, 1983. This union was blessed until her transition.
Jackie was a lover of the arts and fashion and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was funny, outgoing vivacious. She loved sports and took ballet at an early age. She was a symbol of power, of beauty and grace, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family in her own way. She loved adventure in her life. She moved to Oceanside, California in the seventies, completed a degree in nursing and remained in California until her transition. We will always remember her infectious smile, big brown eyes and lovely personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Jackie, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
