Lemma Sue Draper O’Neal Massey, age 84, of Kirby, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.

She was born on July 31, 1936 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of Ebb Draper and Arthie Mack Draper.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benny O’Neal; her second husband, Ford Massey; her parents; and four siblings, Betty Jo Fant, Vernon Draper, Don Draper and Bill Draper.

She was a member of the Mount Joy Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, singing, and loved being with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Cindy O’Neal and Kendal and Kim O’Neal, all of Kirby; her grandchildren and their spouses, Brandy and Richard Tolleson, Alicia and Ryan Doty, Chad and Brittany O’Neal, Jaime and Jamie Johnson and Staci and Wade Stewart; her great-grandchildren, Baylee, Hayden, Saydee, Jackson, Hudson, Taylor, Xander, Wyatt and Westin; her great-great-grandchild, Mykah; and three sisters, Ima Dean Tedder of Daisy, Patsy Funderburk of Kirby and Melba Faye Kennedy of Murfreesboro.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2020, in the Mount Joy Cemetery with Dewight Mack and Dewayne Mack officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Oak Park Village and Montgomery County Nursing Home for the care they have shown.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
