Lonnie K. Anderson, of Etters went to his eternal home in Heaven on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 8:05pm, surrounded by his family at the age of 75.

He was the husband of Cathy F. (Troup) Anderson to whom he married on April 25, 1994, celebrating 26 years of marriage together.

He was born on June 8, 1945, in York and was the son of the late Wilbur and Bessie (Mundis) Anderson and his late stepmother, Helen (Rexroth) Anderson.

Lonnie was a graduate of Red Lion High School, class of 1963.

He was a tool and die maker, working as a supervisor for DuPont/Berg Electronics where he retired after many years of service.

He also worked for Intercon Systems and New Concept. Lonnie was a beekeeper, enjoyed gardening, and experimented with smoking different kinds of meats, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Lonnie was a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Camp Hill.

In addition to his wife, Lonnie leaves behind his two children, a daughter, Kathy S. Martin and husband, Jon, of Camp Hill, and a son Marc S. Anderson and wife, Cynthia, of Dillsburg.

He was the loving grandfather of four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ashlyn Martin, as well as Ben and Maggie Anderson.

Lonnie is survived by his three brothers, David Anderson and wife, Barb of Airville, Bill Anderson and his wife, Amy of Tennessee, and Eric Anderson of Southampton, PA.

He also is survived by his two sisters, Eileen Lancaster and husband, Tom, of Winterstown, and Vickie Nurnberger and husband, Charles, of Virginia, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be from 10 to 11 am on Monday, August 10th at Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion.

A service of honor and praise for Lonnie will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home with his pastor, Craig M. Riggall officiating.

Interment will be at Winterstown Evangelical Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions may be offered in Lonnie's memory to his church, Grace Reformed Baptist Church, 50 Utley Dr., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
