She attended both Ursuline Academy in Springfield and South Fork Township High School in Kincaid. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles, California. While in Los Angeles she worked as a Purchasing Agent for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1966 until 1982. She married Manuel Barron on October 8, 1980.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Manuel Barron of Springfield, two brothers; three nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; two brother-in-laws; one sister-in-law; one uncle and one aunt.
Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1725 S. Walnut, Springfield with Fr. David Hoefler, celebrant. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
