Donald Eugene Rhodes, age 77, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg, PA. Donald was born in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 25, 1942, son of the late Robert and the late Margaret (Gordon) Rhodes. He married the late Delores Rhodes who passed on January 5, 1998. Donald worked as a Logger at various lumber yards and sawmills until he retired.
Donald is survived by two sisters, Cindy Skiles of St. Thomas, PA and Patricia Barnhart of McConnellsburg, PA and one brother Russell Dean Rhodes of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Delores and four brothers, Norman, Walter, Clifford and Cletus Rhodes.
A graveside service at Union Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. The family has entrusted Donald's care to Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Robert Rhodes, 11306 Anne Lane, Mercersburg, PA 17236 to defray funeral arrangements.
