Helen Richardson Etter Holt
Spearman experienced the loss of a long time prominent citizen recently with the death of Helen Holt, 100years and ninety days, in Hansford Hospice on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. A private family service will be on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Spearman at 10:30a.m. with Rev. John Scott officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman Due to COVID 19, social distancing guidelines will be followed. Services will be live on face book by First United Methodist Church. Helen was born on May 7, 1920, to Loren Richardson and Gladys M. Arnold Richardson in O’Neill Nebraska. Helen was a lifelong resident of Spearman and contributed generously to the betterment of the community through her work on various boards and in service organizations and financial support of community projects, such as scholarship funds. Her support of the Spearman community will be missed. Her presence will also be missed by many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Arnold Richardson, 1st husband Tom Etter (1990) and 2nd husband, Nolan Holt. ( 2017) and great-grand-daughter Georgia Grace Pearson.
She is survived by step-son Larry Holt and step- daughter, Linda Jarvis, 4 nephews Tom Richardson, Steven Richardson, Phillip Richardson, Lou Richardson and niece, Denise Larson. She is also survived by many friends and family.
Family suggests memorials be given to Hansford Hospice, Wheelright Museum of the American Indian or ones favorite charity.
