Ray Allen, age 80, of Dalton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Abraham and Katherine Allen and two brothers, David and Weldon Allen.
He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Chatsworth.
Survivors include his loving wife; Austeen Allen of Dalton, two daughters and son-in-law, Renae and Rob Weber of Cohutta and Cindy Allen Wilkey of Dalton, two sons, Kevin Allen and Stuart Allen, both of Dalton, one sister, Lois Shriver, of West Virginia, one brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Amy Allen, of Ducktown, TN, grandchildren, Beth Allen, Colbi Mathis, Austin Allen, Damon and Tagann Weber, Nick Allen, Emily Allen, Morgan Winder and Canaan Chapman, three great-grandchildren, Quinleigh Weber, Rhett Weber, his best little friend, Madi Fariss and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am until the service hour. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made in Ray’s memory to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 207 Mount Moriah Rd, Chatsworth, GA 30705.
