Daniel Wayne Bell, 49, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020.

He was born November 21, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Darlene (Benard) Bell. He was a 1989 graduate of Topeka High School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree and Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University.

Daniel provided loss prevention services for K-Mart and Kohl’s department stores in Topeka. He owned and operated Shadow Tech Investigations in Topeka.

Daniel married on June 21, 1997, in Paris, Illinois. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter, his grandson, his father, and his sister.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Bell.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with family and friends, Japanese culture and memorabilia, movies, and 80’s music.

Honoring his request, cremation is planned. A memorial celebration of life is pending. Please check back for more information.
