Keith Maurice Harris, age 56, resident of Lake City, FL passed away peacefully at his residence June 1, 2018 terminating a brief illness. He was the son of Mrs. Oleatha "Ollie" Harris and the late Mr. Joe Harris.
Confessing Christ a an early age, he was a former member of Union AME Church. He was a graduate of the class of 1979 of Columbia High School and was a Honorable Discharge Veteran of the United States Army.
Keith leaves to cherish his memories; sons, Navaris Jimmy Smith and Keith Maurice "KJ" Harris, Jr.; Mother Mrs. Oleatha "Ollie" Harris; siblings, Angee Ford (Gerald), Vickie Harris, Erma Joyce Morris (Johnny), Don Harris, Kendrick Harris (Vonda), Carroll Harris (Shirley) and Eric Harris (Voncile). Six aunts; Floria Garbutt, Katie Carter, Evelyn Grooms (Ross), Joyce Williams (Irvin), Margaret Carter and Mary Ruth Carter. Two great aunts; Mary Fleming and Mary Etta Hicks. Special friends, Hennis Genus and Rickie Mayo. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Funeral services for Keith Maurice Harris will be 11:00am Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Union A M E Church Rev. Ronald G. Williams, Pastor and Rev. Al Nelson, Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Springville Cemetery.
