LA CENTER, KY., May 28 -- Tom J. Arivette, years of age, died at his home in La Center this morning at 4 o'clock. Mr. Arivette is survived by his widow; one son, John Arivette of La Center; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Rollings of Paducah, and Mrs. Lillie Doyle of Fresno, California, and one brother, Robert Arivette, of Jackson, Mich. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the La Center Baptist church, with the Revs. Mr. Hogg and Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the La Center cemetery.
His parents were William and Elizabeth Corbet Arivett. Records show various spelling of the family surname. Mr. Arivett's death records, and other records, show it as Arivett.
