Melvin Davis, was born on September 28, 1955, to the late Benjamin Franklin Davis and Reva (nee Centers) Cowan and passed on August 3, 2020 in Williamsburg, Ohio at the age of 64.
In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by his son, Christopher W. Davis and his siblings, Greg, Glen, Benjie, Allen and Willow Davis.
Melvin is survived by his children, Karla (Brian) Vanatta, Melanie (Kevin) Eldridge, Melvin Craig (like a daughter-Kimberlly) Davis, Robert (Lisa), Gary (Amanda), Curtis and Shannon "Beau" Davis. Grandfather of 34 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His siblings, Vella (Jimmy) West, Diana (Dale) Lewis, Jeanie (Mike) Donohew, Sherry Jordan, Gary (Sandy), and Shane (Shawna) Davis.
Melvin was a talented guitar player and singer/songwriter, a hard worker for King Wrecking Co. and he loved the Lord. He was also a resident of Williamsburg, Ohio.
