GARDNER, Sara Jane (Sally) Age 73. of West Alexandria, passed away January 26, 2005. She was a retired teacher with the Dayton Public Schools. She was a member of the Riverdale Opti-Mrs & active member of the CH Chapter PEO Sisterhood. She loved to quilt and owned a Quilt & Gift Shop in Springboro. She was a long time volunteer at Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm & recently worked at the Brookhaven Nursing Center as a Nurse?s Aide & in home health care. She is survived by her husband of 54 yrs, Charles; mother Dorcas Copley, Brookville; children Larry & Sandi Gardner, Fresno, CA, Janet & Ronald Fawley, Logansport, IN; Kathy & Tom Bolton, Dayton, & Richard & Paula Gardner, Apex, NC; grandchildren, Heather Gardner, David Bolton, Jena Gardner, Daniel Bolton, Sam Fawley, Ben Fawley, Carl Gardner, Daniel Gardner, Joshua Bolton, & Sarah Gardner; sister Kathy Wood, Port Orchard, WA; brother John Keig, Mustang, OK. Services will be held, Mon. Jan 31 at 1:00pm at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Hal Copley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Aullwood Audubon Center or Farm, or a charity of one?s choice.
