Mr. Ernest Oren Simpson, 84, of Monroe, NC passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

He was born in Union County on May 28, 1936 son of
Fred Simpson and Ruth Presson Simpson.

He was also preceded in death by his

George Lowell Simpson

Sister, Fredine S. Page

Oren, served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Korea. He retired from Tyco/Scott Health and Safety after 38 years of service.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2020 at Unionville Baptist Church, 510 Baucom Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial with military honor will be private.

The family invites friends and relatives to come by Gordon Funeral Service on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM to avoid crowds.

He is survived by his loving wife
