Coats and companion, Shianne Nelson; seven grandchildren, Syncere Coats, Kinsley Coats, Dakota Linkous, Sierra Lange, Isabella Jenkins, Savannah Jenkins and Naomi Billups and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Linkous and Olivia Lange. Sonya was a graduate of Flemington High School Class of 1982. She was the office manager for Fly Rod Chronicles with Curtis Fleming, something she loved doing and being a part of. Above all Sonya loved Jesus, her church, and helping others. She was always helping whether it was putting things together for her church at Long Run Fellowship Church, working on things for her job or planning family gatherings. She had a heart for those going through addiction recovery and put together a recovery group to help those in need. She dearly loved her sons and grandchildren and was always known as “Ya-Ya” to the many children that loved her. Her memory and legacy of love for others will always live on.
Because of the current Covid-19 pandemic and out of concern and safety for others, all services will be private. Interment will be in the Simpson Cemetery.
The Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home is honored to serve the Moore-Coats Family during this time.
