Dr. Douglas Robert Sharp of Katy, Texas passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 70. He was born on March 22, 1950 to T.R. “Bob” Sharp and Marjorie Renette (Crawford) in Hustisford, Wisconsin. Douglas was a cheerleader at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from East Texas State University and he received his doctorate from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Douglas was an osteopathy doctor.
Douglas is survived by his sisters, Lee Carol Copeland and husband, Tom of Arlington, Texas and Lanier Horton of Plano, Texas; step-mother, Mary Sharp of Wolfe City, Texas and several other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T.R. “Bob” and Marjorie Sharp.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Restland Memorial Park.
