Carolyn Joanne Keller Chandler, 84, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed peacefully in Buckingham County, Virginia, at the home of her daughter, Sharon, on August 1, 2020. Joanne was born February 7, 1936 in Tyner, Indiana, a daughter of the late Theodore and Lillian Keller. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wallace Chandler.
Joanne was an avid traveler and enjoyed living in many states as Ralph’s Navy career advanced. While being stationed in Northern Virginia, Joanne enrolled in George Mason University and became a Registered Nurse. This led her to work in the home health field.
Joanne is survived by her four children, Gayle Johnston and husband, Frank, Sharon Chandler and husband, Pete Senger, Michael Chandler and wife, Kristy and Jeff Chandler; her sister, Janis Lockwood; four grandchildren, Kelly Bailey and husband, Brian, Samantha Chandler, Jonathan Chandler and Robert Chandler and two great-grandchildren, Briley and Matthew Bailey.
Funeral services will be held later in Tyner, Indiana and she will be buried beside her husband in the Tyner Cemetery.
