Steven Wayne Tucker, 42, of Washington, Vermont, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. Steven passed peacefully with his family at his side at Fletcher Allen's Intensive Care Unit in Burlington, Vermont, after losing his battle with a bacterial infection.
Steven was born on Feb. 8, 1975, the son of Melanie Tucker and the late Carl Tucker, of Washington.
Steven attended Washington Village School, St. Monica's and Williamstown High School.
He married Naomi Lemieux on Oct. 9, 1993, and resided in Washington. A son, Nicholas Gordon (Tucker) Tilton, was born March 7, 1994.
He later married Mandi Lessard on April 27, 1998, and they made their home in Williamstown, Vermont, and later, Barre, Vermont. Two sons were born, Austin Wayne Tucker, Oct. 20, 1998, and Holden Wayne Tucker, Oct. 6, 1999.
Steven worked at Poulin Aluminum and later, at Vermont Fire Extinguisher.
Steven loved his family. He enjoyed the company of friends, including Alfred Spencer of Orange, Vermont. His favorite pastimes included camping, fishing, snowmobiling and mechanic work. He also enjoyed the company of his cats and his dog, Kahlua.
Steven was predeceased by his father, Carl Wayne Tucker; his grandfather, Gordon Ralph Farnham; his grandmother, Maxine Ella Farnham; and his grandfather, Max Tucker.
Steven is survived by his brother, David Newell, and companion Sheri Perkins, of Spofford, New Hampshire; brother Rick Barnett and wife, Kellie Barnett, of Barre, Vermont; and brother Brian Barnett, of Washington, Vermont; and grandmother, Elva (Tucker) Chouinard, of Florida.
