Funeral services for Mrs. Cora E Wilhoit, 73, wife of Sebert Wilhoit, were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey. Rev. f. R. Brooks of Westfield officiated, and interment made in the Washington St. Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilhoit died in her sleep Saturday afternoon at the family home on Westfield Rte. 2, where she had lived for 54 years.

Born in Parker Township, she was the daughter of Arthur and Sally Rockwell Hammond.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Byrd of Charleston, Mrs. Marjorie Davis of Hindsboro, and Mrs. Wanda Bell of Casey; 7 grandchildren and two brothers, Clark and George Hammond, both of Martinsville. One son Don, preceded her in death 15 years ago.
