Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Redick passed away Monday Evening--Typhoid Fever caused her death.
Miss Ruth Hazel Redick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Redick, of Spencerville, passed away at the home of her parents, Monday evening, July 18th, death being due to the dread disease typhoid fever.
She was taken sick with the fever five weeks ago and after much suffering, and medical aid being unable to relieve her, death came.
She was born on Thanksgiving day, November 24th , 1904, and if she had lived until this coming November she would have celebrated her 17th birthday.
Besides the father and mother there are five half-brothers and one half-sister left to mourn their loss, besides many other relatives and friends whom she acquired during her short life on this earth.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10:00 o'clock at the Friends church, Spencerville, in charge of Rev. E. E. Hale. Interment will be made in the City cemetery.
