ChiQuita LaDonna Thomas 39, of DeQuincy, La., died Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her residence in DeQuincy.
She is survived by her mother, Hazel Hilts of Sulphur; two sons, Julious and Tereal Cole of DeQuincy; sisters, LaNita (Anthony) Scott of Yongsan Korea, Jessie Mae Thomas, and Patricia (Willie) Scroggins, all of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Calvin Thomas, Charles Ray (Kimberly) Thomas, Joshua Thomas, all of Houston, Texas, Matthew Estelle of DeQuincy, La.; two grands, Julious Jr. and Brooklyn Cole of DeQuincy, La.; along with a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, the Rev. Jessie Lee Thomas; stepfather, Leon Hilts; grandparents, Herman and Emma Tezeno.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in DeQuincy, La., on Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in DeQuincy.
