Frank Payne 81, of Hewitt, Texas, went to be with His Heavenly Father on Thursday July 30, 2020 at his home after a lengthy illness.
A graveside service will be August 15, 2020 At Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin, Tx at 10:00 am with the Reverend Richard Rust officiating.
Frank was born August 15, 1938 in Streetman, Tx to Charlie H. Payne and Polly Mae Bryson Payne who proceeded Him in death. Frank grew up in Streetman and Mexia, Tx. The family moved to Waco, Tx. where Frank attended University High School and graduated in 1956.
He followed his three brothers to the military by joining the United States Marine Corp. After the military he moved his family to Houston, Tx where he learned the trade of glazier and retired At the age of 70.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Helena Payne, Daughter Robbie Company, husband Ron, Daughter Diana Rorie, husband Donnie, Son Frank Payne, Son Kevin (Pete) Payne, wife Brenda, Son Charles Richardson preceded him to Heaven, and Daughter Rebekah Snipp, husband Mark, 14 Grandchildren with Dustin Company who preceded him to Heaven and 27 Great Grandchildren.
Surviving sisters Jimmie Posey, husband Benny who preceded him to Heaven, Nancy Yanca, husband Chuck. Siblings who preceded him to Heaven, Bill, Fred, Orville, Bobbie, Tiny, Doris and Valley.
The family would like to thank the many people that assisted them over the last several years of Franks life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Frank Payne be made to Community Healthcare of Texas – Providence Hospice Place – Waco.
