Bruce Edward Lee, Sr. was born on July 18, 1957, in Camden, South Carolina, to Eula Mae Lee and the late McElree Lee, He entered into eternal rest on August 2, 2020, at Prisma Health Richland, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Bruce graduated from Baron DeKalb High School in 1976. He accepted Christ at an early age at Good Hope AME Zion Church. Bruce worked for the Camden Chronicle. He left the Camden Chronicle and went to work for Standard Warehouse in Lugoff, South Carolina for twenty years.

Bruce loved coaching little league baseball and basketball. He also coached the 97 Lakers Men’s Basketball team for many years. He was a very good cook and enjoyed cooking for his family. He loved to go fishing and have fish fries for his family and friends. Bruce loved listening to the oldies but goodies music and hanging with his buddies. He was also an avid Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Bruce leaves to cherish his memories his wife of thirty-nine years, Evelyn Lee of Camden, SC; his three loving children, Dwayne Lee of Camden, SC, Tijwana Lee of Columbia, SC and Bruce Lee, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, John Robert (Charlene) Lee and Terry (Theresa) Lee both of Camden, SC; three sisters, Shirley (Willie) Johnson, Christine Boykin and Toni (Tracey) Bennett all of Camden, SC; two aunts, Annie Bell Thompson of Camden, SC and Evelyn (Jake) Thomas of New Jersey; one uncle, Rev. Dr. Freddie (Geneva) Thomas of Camden, SC; a granduncle, Walter (Viola) Belton of Camden, SC; a brother-in-law, John Williams of Camden, SC; four sisters-in-law, Cheryl (John) Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Vivian (Tyrone) Horton of Camden, SC, Pamela (Billy) Ferguson of Walterboro, SC and Joan Halley of Liberty Hill, SC; a special son, Marcus Hayes of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
