Born in Porum, Oklahoma, he was the son of King and Florence (Stout) Fisher. He married Nadine Sexton in Stigler on Feb. 6, 1954. He worked for several years for ACME Engineering in Muskogee and later as a policeman for the City of Porum and several other towns and retired in 1996 as a truck driver. He died at his home in Porum at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Josh and Roy Fisher and two sisters, Elsie Barnes and Alta Lee Fisher
