Charles Edward Thompson, 59, Athens, died Saturday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Craft and Dewey Craft officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Kelley Thompson; a step-daughter, Sherry Ann Beasley of Athens; two sisters, Judy Turner of Athens and Elaine Ezell of Rogersville.
