CALHOUN, Wallace
1904-1967
Wallace A. Calhoun, 63, route 4, Louisa, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday of injuries received when his tractor overturned on a small bridge near his farm home. Born in McCullough County, TX, July 22, 1904, he was a son of Mrs. Ruth Massey Calhoun of Weatherford, TX and the late John Taylor Calhoun. He was an operating engineer for the Kentucky Power Co., Bug Sandy Plant and a farmer.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Heston Funeral Home with the Rev. Eli Moore officiating. Burial was in the Patton Cemetery on Route 4. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Kathleen McWilliams Calhoun, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Ruth Hutson of Carlsbad, NM, Mrs. Margaret Westenburg, Childress, TX, Mrs. Imogene Sinclair, Fairfax, VA, and Mrs. Jane Owens, Fort Worth, TX; two sons, Wallace J. Calhoun, Route 4, Louisa, John William Calhoun, Joliet, IL, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Ray of Ft. Worth; a brother, G.W. Calhoun of El Paso, TX and 15 grandchildren. Big Sandy News, September 21, 1967
