She was born in New Haven, CT and loved her hospitality position with Eddy Farm Hotel in Sparrowbush, NY until 1999 before relocating in Liverpool in 2003.
Joan was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a volunteer in the office and a money counter. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Frank D. Patterson who passed away in 2012.
Joan is survived by her son, David (Linda) Patterson of Morristown, NJ; a daughter, Susan (James) Craver of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Matthew (Marissa) Craver, Emily (James) Caggy, Steven Patterson and Sara Patterson; and four great-grandchildren.
