Larry Edward Oliver, 58, of Woodville, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery all in Woodville. Officiating will be Brother Randy Herrington. Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Dixon, Otis Reed, Cliff Courtney, Anthony Williams, Cameron Flakes, and Howard Rachal.

Larry was born May 31, 1962 to Edward & Carlene White Oliver in Lufkin, Texas.

He was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a Lathe Tech operator with Georgia Pacific. Larry was a man with a big heart who loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed sports, but he really loved the Dallas Cowboys. He liked to be outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Logan Oliver; and mother, Carlene White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Debera Oliver of Woodville; children, Fred Oliver & wife, Karrie of Woodville, Heather Oliver & fiancé, Christian of Hillister, Jennie Williford & husband, Matt of Woodville, Brittany Grissom & husband, Matt of Silsbee, Meagan Oliver of Hillister; father, Edward Oliver of Cushing; brother, Jim Oliver & wife, Debra of Bivins; sisters, Geneva Whitehead & husband, Rob of Cushing, Janet Duff & husband, Darryl of Pollock, Angie Cheney & husband, Jeremy of Zavalla; grandchildren, Morgan, Charles, Marie, Androux, Aubree, Jase, Martha, Alexander, Mallorie & Baby Grissom; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews.
