Cathy was the loving sister of four brothers Jeffrey C. (Truedy), Edward L. Jr., (Martha, pre-deceased), Emory S., Joel T. (pre-deceased) (Daffonie), and two sisters, Julie A. Schools (Joseph) and Susan A. (pre-deceased).
Cathy leaves two daughters Dana Nichols (Akmad) and Robin Martin (Jason), to whom she was a very dedicated and loving mother.
Cathy also leaves six grandchildren Akmad Jr., Akaria, Akina, Akeyia, Akayla Nichols and Jayden Martin.
In her early years, Catherine worked at H. J. Hines. In later years, she worked at Wire Pro Inc, until her illness in March of 2002.
Cathy enjoyed westerns such as Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, and Bonanza. She also loved action and mystery movies, specifically the Indiana Jones Series and Jaws, puzzles and oil paintings. She adored going out to dinner with her favorite restaurant being Old Country Buffet. Cathy valued being around and spending time with her family, remarkably family dinners and holiday gatherings.
Cathy leaves cherished memories with her daughters, Dana and Robin, siblings, grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends and a very special friend of the family, Marion Brown.
