Harold Kenneth Stone, 91, of Princeton, died Saturday, August 1, 2020. Mr. Stone was a retired general contractor and was a veteran of the US Army.

He was born on October 8, 1928 in Princeton to the late George Stone (Deceased) and Kansas Missouri Champ-Stone (1895-1965). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Violet Simpkins-Stone (1926-2017) whom he married on March 15, 1949 in Princeton, Mercer County, WV (per WV Marriage License Register, Mercer County, WV, 1949, Page 96, Line 18, Application Date: March 12, 1949); son, Harold Wayne Stone (1950-2003); brothers, Paul Stone (Deceased) and Frank Stone (Deceased); and sister, Coramae Stone (Deceased).

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Stone of Princeton; sister, Virginia Stone-Lonnon of Wheeling; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until service hour at the mausoleum chapel.
