Sherri S. Lee, 55, resident of Vienna, VA died unexpectedly after being found unresponsive at work on Wednesday morning, July 29, 2020. Sherri was born on October 22, 1964 in Hazleton, PA and later moved as a child with her parents to Collingdale, PA. After graduating from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science, Sherri moved to northern VA where she started her life and a career with the federal government. Sherri enjoyed her work, but nothing meant more to her than her family and the organizations she was passionate about. As a lifetime Girl Scout, Sherri volunteered her time leading both her daughters’ troops and managing cookie and fall product sales for her local service unit. She was an avid bowler, coached youth bowling on Saturday mornings, and accompanied her daughters to tournaments each year. Sherri was a devoted parishioner of Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Annandale, VA and taught Sunday school for many years.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Robert G. Slebodnick of Collingdale, PA and is survived by her mother, Laurel Anne Slebodnick who still resides in Collingdale, PA. She is also survived by her two daughters, Shelby and Kelsey Lee of Vienna, VA, her sister Staci L. Evangelista of Morton, PA, her brother Gary S. Slebodnick of Arlington, MA and several nieces and nephews. Sherri had a passion for helping others and viewed every challenge as a new adventure. Her many friends and family will dearly miss her.

A viewing will be held on Thursday evening August 6th at Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, 3410 Woodburn Rd. Annandale VA, from 4 to 6 PM with the Parastas starting at 5:30 PM. A second viewing will be held on Friday August 7th at Epiphany of Our Lord at 9:00 AM with the Funeral Divine Liturgy beginning at 9:30 AM. All safety precautions will be observed during these times. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Girl Scout’s SHARE program (https://www.gscnc.org/en/donate/share.html), or to her aforementioned church.
