Mildred was the daughter of Abe Schofield and Mary Lou Robinson Schofield. She was educated in the Crawford County School System. She was employed with Pool's Cafe in Fort Valley, Georgia as a Cook for several years. She moved to Ohio in 1967 and returned to live in Georgia in 1980. She enjoyed watching "Walker Texas Ranger" on television in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Sammie Schofield and 4 sisters, Nezzie Laney, Claudia Newman, Annie Lee Schofield and Odessa Schofield.

1 Niece: Willie Mae Jackson.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11AM in the Willow Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Valley, Georgia.
