Tony Lamb, 35, of Portland, OR, passed away on July 30, 2020. Tony was born on August 19, 1984 in Knoxville, TN to Michela Lewis of Loudon, TN. After graduating from Powell High School in 2002, his education took him from the University of Tennessee to McLennan Community College in Waco, TX to Portland State University. He graduated from Portland State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development in 2015 and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning in 2018.

In 2010, he met his wife Bethany, and they were married on May 26, 2012. They enjoyed being in nature through hiking, camping, and backpacking. Tony had recently developed a passion for trail running.

Tony worked for the City of Portland’s Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, specializing in economic development and racial equity, which positively impacted the city’s most vulnerable. Tony will be remembered for his passion for social justice and his ability to bring joy and laughter to his many friends and family.

Tony is predeceased by Mary and Byon Lamb and his brother, Randy Fleck. He is survived by his wife, Bethany, and his mother, Michela Lewis; sisters, Tashia Johnson, Lindsey Johnson (Lamb), and Megan Lamb.

Services remembering Tony will held on 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at McGill Click Chapel with Elder Bobby Fields officiating. A private interment will be held in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens.

Contributions in memory of Tony may be made to the Portland Urban League or Knoxville Area Rescue Mission.

The family will receive friends 10:30 – 11:30 AM Wednesday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N, Loudon.
