Delores Gayle Ice White, age 81, of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at her home. Born April 22, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Delmar and Mary (Henson) Ice. Gayle worked for many years as a hairdresser at the former Magic Mirror Beauty Salon. In her free time, she enjoyed boating and was an avid Bridge player. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Stan" White, Jr.; and a step-son, Steve White.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Stroud and Kristen Duncan, both of Cadiz; two step-sons, John White of Cadiz and Bill White of Tucson, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Christy White of Phoenix, Ariz., and Holly White McClennahan of Henderson, Nev.; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Harmony, Angel, Kyle, Aaron, Mary, Sarah, and Evan; and two great-grandchildren, Trenton and Tessa.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Dale Cemetery, E Medcalf Street in Dale, Ind., with Rev. Joe Kamman officiating.
