Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Suggs Knight, 80, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at New Prospect Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Knight passed away Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at Woodland Nursing Home. She was born November 1, 1939 to Sank Elbert & Angie Gladys Estelle Wheeles Suggs. She was a member for many years at New Prospect Baptist church. She loved her church and her church family. She loved her family and she loved working in her flowers, in her garden and loved to cook and can.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Knight; daughter, Cynthia Knight; brothers, Ronald Suggs, Jimmy Suggs; sister, Mary Carr.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Vickie) Knight, Mark (Tonya) Knight, Steven (Samantha) Knight; daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Baker, Carol (Brian) Murphy; brothers, Willard Suggs, Bobby (Sherene) Suggs, Rodney (Donna) Suggs; sister, Wilma (Dean) Florence; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Knight, Eric Knight, Nicole (Luke) Browning, John (Ellisa) Baker, Ashley Baker, Autumn Murphy; great-grandchildren, Bentley Knight and Rayden & Ryker Browning; family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday at New Prospect Baptist Church from 12-2 p.m.
