John Henry Jones went to be home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, July 31, 2020
Mr. Jones was born on July 16, 1926, in Franklin County, GA where he lived all of his life. He was the son of the late Joseph Walter and Annie Belle Huff Jones. John was a retired machinist having worked at Roper Pump Company for 30 years, was a lifelong farmer and member of Middle River Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Edward Michael Jones; sisters, Mary Nell Jones and Clara Belle Powers; and brothers, Joseph Aubrey Jones, James Doyle Jones, Lloyd Bruce Jones and Joe Roy Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Glaydelle Brown Jones; son and favorite daughter-in-law, Mike and Brenda Anderson Jones; brother, Rev. William Bobby Jones; brother-in-law, James Dwain Brown; sister-in-law, Ophelia Bradley Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Fountain; sister-in-law, Mary Fern Hooper; and many nieces and nephews.
