Marlene Faye Riley-Funk, 87, of Odessa, went home to the Lord on July 30, 2020 at 6:50 a.m. She was born on July 9, 1933 in Bakersfield, CA to Rev. John Wesley Riley and Lassie Bell Bobo-Riley Gray.

She was a very fun loving person who always had a joke or a funny saying to make you smile. She loved the Lord and her family whole heartedly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Funk; her parents, Rev. John Wesley Riley and Lassie Bell Bobo Riley-Gray; brother, Rev. Doyle Riley; daughter, Ginger Outlaw; grandson, Russell Pardue; and great grandson, Ashben Huddleston.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Greenhill of Pensacola, FL and brother, John Wesley Riley Jr. of CA; daughter, Lois Pardue and her husband Kermon of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Travis Pardue and wife Wendy, Tiffany Huddleston and husband Aaron, Timmy Efferson and Melody Pardue, all of Odessa; 14 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 1 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Rev. Craig DeArmond officiating. Interment will be Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 9 AM at the Odessa II section of Ector County Cemetery.
