He is survived by his wife: Melissa Hunt of Taylorville; father: Dennis Hunt (companion Gloria McClard) of Stonington; siblings: Tom (Anita) Hunt of Taylorville, Kim (Frank) Herkert of Morrisonville, Tim (Kristin) Hunt of Taylorville, Tyler (Betsy) of Edinburg, Todd Hunt of Owaneco, and Kristin (Jeremy) Stanton of Taylorville; mother and father-in-law: Sue and Patrick Kretzer of Taylorville; brother-in-law: Eric (Nicole) Kretzer of Seattle, Washington; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved Mastiff: Ringo . He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents: William and Mary Murray and Steven and Evelyn Hunt; aunt: Carolyn Brusca; uncles: Jim Murray, Bob Sinnard, and Don Hunt.
A visitation for Travis will be held from 4p.m. until 7p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville. A service of remembrance will begin at 7p.m. Due to the pandemic, only 50 visitors will be allowed in the building at a time and masks are encouraged as well as casual attire. A private family graveside inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Memorials may be left to St. Mary’s Catholic School or the Dinner Seasoned with Love organization. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.
