William "Bill" Erickson, age 82, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Patricia (Duing Winter) Erickson. Step-father of Robert D. Winter, Jr. and Heidi (Christopher) Van Dyke. Cherished PapPap of Brandon (Katey) Irvine, Krista Van Dyke, and Heather Van Dyke. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Esther (Larken) Erickson.
Bill will be missed for his jokes, collecting items and tinkering with things, he worked for and retired from Jefferson Hospital after 26 years. Bill loved his visits to Erie where he could be found fishing and enjoying the time pass by with his beloved "Trish".
Due to the current health restrictions, the family has chose to mourn Bill's passing privately. Services are under the care of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
