Judy Gale (Hoke) Bryant, 78, passed away on July 27, 2020 at Southlake Village Rehabilitation Facility following the decline of a stroke.

Judy was born July 7, 1942 at the Tecumseh hospital. She was raised in Elk Creek, NE at her family home. She was an only child but was very close to her cousin, Jim Hoke, and many classmates that she attended school with. Her main achievements in life were helping others. After graduating from Elk Creek High with the Class of 1959 she moved to Lincoln, NE. Judy attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She then began working at Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Company. While working there she met Gerald (Jerry) Bryant and after dating they married September 2, 1962. She focused on raising their children and was always there to help with the grandchildren too. They had two sons and a daughter. She welcomed many friends into the home and was very gracious. Judy held several jobs but family always came first. She helped with Girl Scout outings, helped coach sports (when their children were young), went to countless ball games, and was a great homemaker. She was a part time poet and enjoyed participating in alumni plays in her hometown. Judy and her husband enjoyed traveling later in life and exploring their genealogy.

Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gerald; sons Daniel (Kim) Bryant, David (Candice) Bryant, daughter Deana (Gary) Kumpf; 10 grandchildren; Danielle (Jacob) Oshlo, Zachary Bryant, Beau (Payton) Bryant, Alix (Colten) Mach, Elizabeth (Shaylee) Flax, Chase Bryant, Noah Kumpf, Josie (Elijah) Lenton, Ethan Kumpf, Rylie Bryant. 3 great-grandchildren; Malcolm Oshlo, Nora Bryant, Rhyker Mach; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Rosa Hoke.

Memorials may be given to the America Diabetes Association or Stroke Research Foundation.
