Mr. Clarence Wesley Baker, Jr., age 74 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 1:25 AM at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, May 11, 2018. Cremation was chosen. Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

Mr. Baker was born October 2, 1943 in Malone, NY to the late Clarence Baker, Sr. and the late Louva Jock Baker. He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Ann Baker, 2 brothers Clifford Baker and Horace Baker and a grandson Matthew Grundwal.

He is survived by his son Robert “Bobby” Camerata (Wendy) of Fort Myers, FL, a grandson Robert Cody Camerata, foster daughter Jennifer King of Dallas, TX, foster son Glenn Randall of PA, foster grandson Kayden and niece Rose Gilman, Murray, NY; 2 brothers Kester Baker of Medina, NY, Steve Baker of Lyons, NY and a sister Roslie Baker of Malone, NY.

Mr. Baker was an electrician and a Navy veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 5706, American Legion Post 62, Am Vets #110 and the Military Order of the Cooties Pup Tent 9. He loved gardening and engineering things that worked electrically. He was a volunteer driver to transport veterans to appointments and a Bingo caller.

There will be no visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home.
