Tim W. Coffman, a pastor in the Foursquare denomination for 50 years in California, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 81.

Mr. Coffman also managed a church camp.

The casket will be open from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, prior to the funeral at 10 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Coffman was born May 30, 1922, in Driggs, Idaho, and lived in Vancouver the past eight years.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marvel "Sunny," at home; three daughters, Marilyn Clark of Newberg, Ore., Judy Salber of Buena Park, Calif., and Connie Coats of Vancouver; two brothers, Wallace and Paul, both of Yakima; one sister, Deborah Yoder of Portland; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

After serving as a pilot in World War II, Mr. Coffman graduated from Life Bible College in Los Angeles.

He enjoyed yardwork, travel and was an avid sports fan.
