Mr. Stepp sadly succumbed to pneumonia while battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mr. Stepp worked as an electrician and worked for E.C. Ernst for 31 years until retiring in 1992. He received numerous craftmanship awards and awards for his outstanding work throughout his career. In his retirement he loved to spend his free time tinkering with his car and watching racing in any form, particularly NASCAR. Even shortly before his death he was incredibly lively and helpful, always making sure to take care of his family whom he loved very much.
Mr. Stepp is survived by his daughters Deborah S. Stepp of Fairfax, VA, Ramona L. (Jack) Schneider of Arlington VA, and his two grandchildren, Paul Schneider of Richmond, VA, and Gus Schneider of Arlington.
A small graveside service for immediate family was held Monday July 3. 2020, at Macedonia Lutheran Church cemetery, with a life celebration to be scheduled once the current Covid-19 Virus is under control.
