Mark Leon Breedlove was born October 1, 1954 in Tyler, Texas to Charles & Rita Lynne (Kennedy) Breedlove. He grew up in Tyler and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He worked for a time with Ortho Exterminators managing their products in stores. He then operated his antique shop, Breedlove’s Plantiques in Mineola, Texas. Mark was well versed in antiques especially crystal and china pieces. He also had a mind for plants which originated in his family’s nursery business. He could identify any plant or flower and had a home and yard filled with beautiful plants and flowers of many kinds. Mark was also a phenomenal cook and his family lovingly demanded his homemade apricot fried pies to be at any celebration or special occasion.

Mark met Ed Wirfel in 2009 and moved to Fort Worth to be with him in 2014. Mark and Ed moved to Forsyth in 2018 and were married on February 29, 2020 in Springfield, MO. Mark worked at Holiday Hills selling timeshares. He loved living in this area, attending shows and enjoying all the things Branson offered.

Mark entered into rest on August 1, 2020 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield at the age of 65.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Breedlove.
