Wm. T. Abernathy Succumbs To Injuries
William T. Abernathy, age 37, a native of LaFayette, passed away at Grady Hospital in Atlanta last Tuesday, July 7. Mr. Abernathy suffered serious injuries in an auto accident July 17, 1952, and never regained consciousness.' Funeral services were held from the Antioch Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 9, at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. C. C . Sanders conducting. Interment was in the Antioch cemetery with Johnson and Sanders Funeral Home in charge of 'arrangements. A veteran of World War Two and a member .of the Antioch ! Baptist Church, ' the deceased is ! survived . by the widow. one 'daughter, Miss Dorothy Abernathy, Atlanta; mother, Mrs. Leila A. Abernathy, Fairfax; two sisters, Mrs Mildred Fowler and Mrs. Clifford Betts, Fairfax.
