Stephen W. Ball, age 28 of Rosemount, passed away April 29, 2019.

Stephen Ball was born May 1, 1990, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the oldest of seven children born to Mark and Judy Ball. He graduated in 2008 from First Baptist School of Rosemount, Minnesota.

Stephen struggled over the last ten years with bipolar disorder and increasingly severe seizures. He died in his sleep on April 29. His hobbies were science fiction, anime, politics, drawing, video games, and reading. He was a full-time employee at Ceva Logistics in Shakopee, where he enjoyed driving a forklift.

After an extended period away from church, Stephen went to visit his pastor last summer. He told the pastor that he wanted to make sure that the Lord Jesus Christ was his personal savior. Stephen made sure of his salvation and then was baptized on August 26, 2018. He attended church faithfully from that day forward.

Stephen was kind and generous to anyone who was in need. He had a way of making everyone around him laugh. Stephen was liked by all who knew him. He was our big kid with a big heart. He will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Bettie O'Hara, Marjorie Ball, and uncle, Lewis O'Hara Jr. Survived by his parents, Mark and Judy; siblings, Becky, Bethany, Heather, David, Daniel, and Jack; grandfather, Dr. Wayne Ball; also by his loving aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, May 6, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 14400 Diamond Path West, Rosemount. Visitation from 12-1 PM prior to the service. Interment Rosemount Lutheran Cemetery
