Daisey Irene Massey, age 93, of Covington, GA., passed away on Friday, April 29, 2005. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Rockdale Chapel with Rev. Virgil Barnard officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Panola Road in Stone Mountain, GA. Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Massey and son, Melvin Massey. She is survived by her children, James and Virginia Massey of Oxford, GA., Irma Jean Arnold of Covington, GA., Vera Massey of Conyers, GA., Charles and Linda Massey of Covington, GA., Ronald and Virginia Massey of Covington, GA. and Joan Brown of Covington, GA.; 7 sisters, 1 brother; 24 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; 28 great great children and 1great-great-great-grandchild. Family will receive friends Sunday, May 1, 2005, 2 to 4and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
